Welcome to Channyridge

Established in 2008 Channyridge is located on Channybearup road, 10km from Karri Valley Resort in the renowned karri forest region of Channybearup, Western Australia.

Whilst original just growing the renowned Black winter truffle (Tuber melanosporum).
Channyridge has added to its output with the addition of truffle products which over time have become a more consumer friendly way to enjoy the luxurious produce.

While Carbon neutral, Channyridge is still active in finding more sustainable methods including adoption of organic methods for its agricultural practises

A producing nursery for the growth of new trees which not only allow for more CO2 to be absorbed but keep Channyridge as a self sustainable truffière.

Harvested from May to September for roughly 8 hectares of oak (mainly Quercus pubescens and robur) and hazelnut (Corylus avellana)

Channyridge truffle has a dark black exterior with prominent white internal veins.

The area specific karri loam entombs the aroma so the truffle has a pronounced earthy aroma;
that sometimes has the fragrance of perfume when harvested straight from the ground.
